Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Gillingham to Moulton College in the EFL Youth Alliance on Saturday.

A Scott Pollock free-kick secured a 1-0 win for the Cobblers as they extended their unbeaten start to the season.

"It was a very physical game but the boys dealt with the challenge well," said coach Jon Brady.

"It was a great free-kick from Scott and it's another fantastic result, Gillingham won their first four games but with this win we move above them in the table."
