Northampton Town's under 18s travelled to Gillingham on Tuesday for a re-arranged EFL Youth Alliance fixture.

A Jack Daldy header and Scott Pollock from the penalty spot secured a 2-0 win for Jon Brady's side.

"We played some incredible stuff and it was a fantastic all round team performance," said the Cobblers under 18s coach.

"It was a great free-kick from Camron McWilliams which lead to the first goal and Michael Harding did really well to win the penalty.

"We were more than up for the challenge, the players won their individual battles all over the park and we were well worth the win."
