Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Barnet on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance.

An own goal and a Jack Daldy header gave the Cobblers a 2-1 victory in the capital.

“It was a good performance,” said coach Jon Brady.

“We moved the ball around well and really opened them up.

“Our finishing was a bit rusty but we could have scored more goals.”
