Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Leyton Orient to Moulton College on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance.

The Cobblers were beaten 2-0 but despite the result there were positives for coach Jon Brady.

“We dominated the game in terms of possession but we need to make it harder for the opposition,” he said.

“We created some good chances and we had a couple cleared off the line but there were positives in the way we played.

“Results aren’t the be all and end all at this level but there are areas where we can improve.”
