The Cobblers recorded a 3-1 win at Scottish Premier League side St Mirren in their latest pre-season fixture on Tuesday evening.
Jon Brady named two different teams for each forty five minutes, with new signing Sam Sherring starting just hours after signing for the club.
The first chance of the game came after just three minutes, Mitch Pinnock playing in Louis Appere but the home keeper denied the striker.
At the other end Max Dyche did well to deny Olusanya with a sliding challenge but the home side had the lead on 14 minutes, O'Hara scoring with a low effort from the edge of the area.
The Cobblers were level on 21 minutes when Louis Appere got the final touch to a Mitch Pinnock corner, Ben Fox following in to make sure.
The dangerous Olusanya was thwarted by a Jon Guthrie tackle as the home side looked to regain the lead while defensive partner Sherring was in the right place to deny Ayunga.
Fox forced St Mirren keeper Trevor Carson in to a good save just before the break before Pinnock fired the rebound over.
Carson saved Danny Hylton's header early in the second half while as the game reached the three quarter mark, Jonny Maxted made a good reaction save.
Young Josh Tomlinson came close to giving the Cobblers the lead on 72 minutes but his shot froma Hoskins corner was well saved.
Danny Hylton did put the Cobblers ahead with fourteen minutes to play, Miguel Ngwa's shot was parried back to the former academy player who passed to Hylton to covert from close range.
Hylton was then fouled inside the area having been played in by Ali Koiki with seven minutes to play and the former Luton Town man scored from the penalty spot.
Maxted made an excellent save with four minutes to go to preserve the two goal lead and ensure the Cobblers ran out 3-1 winners.
