January signing Will Hondermarck made his first start for the Cobblers as one of three changes made by Jon Brady for the re-arranged trip to Harrogate. Aaron McGowan and Mitch Pinnock also came into the side with Tyler Magloire and Shaun McWilliams having joined the lengthening list of injury absentees.

On a wet and windy night at Wetherby Road, Mark Oxley made an early save from Louis Appere but after a bright start from the Cobblers the game turned a little quiet until McGowan went close with a shot that whistled just wide.

Danny Grant headed wide from a Toby Sims cross in the first chance of the night for Harrogate but the first half was to end goalless.

Mitch Pinnock put the Cobblers in front four minutes into the second half when his deflected shot beat Oxley in the Harrogate goal but the lead lasted only a minute, Luke Armstrong finding the bottom corner to draw the home side quickly level.

D’Margio Wright-Phillips and Tete Yengi came on for Hondermarck and Appere in a double change from Brady just after the hour mark before a period of pressure from the home side.

Marc Leonard, who was replaced by Josh Eppiah for the final few minutes, had a shot from distance deflected behind in the closest the Cobblers came to getting a winner but in the end Brady’s side had to settle for a point.

Therefore, all Myrings Terrace tickets will be merged with the Barclay LED stand. Harrogate have moved the segregation gate to allow extra space to accommodate the 220 away supporters who would have been in the Myrings Terrace.
