Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Peterborough United to Moulton College on Saturday for their latest fixture in the Football League Youth Alliance Cup.

The Cobblers lost an entertaining game 3-2, but Head of Youth Geoff Harrop is hoping to see an improvement from his side in the next few weeks.

"We played well in patches but we have a habit of losing our way in games at the moment," he said. "I know the lads can do better, both individually and collectively and that is what we will be looking for in the coming matches."
