UNDER 18S BEATEN AT RUSHDEN
Northampton Town's youth team suffered a 3-0 loss at Rushden & Diamonds in the Football League Youth Alliance on Saturday.
The Cobblers, who were without regular keeper Paul Walker who was on first team duty at Tranmere Rovers, were second best according to coach Sean Parrish.
"We didn't do enough with the ball," he said. "I was disappointed with the goals we conceded and we didn't really do enough to deserve a result. It is always disappointing to lose a local derby but we were without a number of players and we have to look to bounce back in our next game."
