The Cobblers youth team travelled to Brightlingsea in Essex on Tuesday for a pre-season friendly.

The game ended 2-2 with Alexandros Konstantinou and Wes Emery the players on target for Sean Parrish's side.

"It was a very good work out for us," commented the Cobblers youth team coach.

"They were a very organised and disciplined side and although I was disappointed that we went 2-0 down the lads came back well.

"The hot weather made it tough but the lads worked really hard and their fitness is looking good ahead of the new season."
