Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Brighton on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.

The Cobblers won 2-0 thanks to goals from Wes Emery and a trialist.

"We started slowly but then we changed formation and quickly got into our stride," said Sean Parrish.

"We were unlucky not to add more goals and overall I was very pleased with the performance."
