UNDER 18S BEATEN AT LUTON
Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Luton Town on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
The Cobblers were beaten 2-0, with two second half goals sending the game the way of the Hatters.
"I was happy with the effort and commitment but we needed to be sharper in the final third," said Coach Sean Parrish.
"It was a windy day and the pitch was bobbly but when we had the elements in our favour in the first half we didn't work their keeper enough. Luton scored twice in the closing stages but had we been crisper with our passing in and around their area we could well have taken something from the game."
