Northampton Town Football Club are pleased to confirm that as of the first week of April, season tickets for 2009/2010 are ahead of those for the current season at the same time 12 months ago.

The value of season tickets sold is the same, but with prices reduced for adults in the Dave Bowen Stand, the number of season tickets sold is slightly up on the same stage last year.

"We have had a flurry of activity now we have started the final month of the discount period," said Customer Service Manager Paula Kane.

"We are particularly pleased when you consider that the discount period has been extended this year and runs to the end of April, which is around a week later than was the case a year ago. We are also expecting a busy time in the last couple of weeks of the discount period. 20% of all sales are to new season ticket holders, so that is very encouraging.

"I am sure the Dave Bowen Stand season ticket offer has convinced a number of supporters to buy a season ticket when they may not have done so otherwise.

"We are really grateful to those who have purchased a season ticket for next season, and we would like to thank them for their support."

Supporters are reminded that they have until 8pm on April 30 to secure discounted prices for 2009/2010. New season ticket holders will also secure a free ticket to see the MK Dons game on April 28th.
