Northampton Town Football Club have announced that they have removed the requirement to sell 600 tickets in the Dave Bowen Stand in order for supporters to take advantage of the £250 adult and £200 (under 21 and senior) season tickets for 2009/2010 season.

This means that Dave Bowen Stand season tickets for next season will cost just £250 (adults) and £200 (under 21 and senior) unconditionally if purchased before April 30th 2009, irrespective of how many season tickets are sold. Even lower prices continue to apply for under 16s.

"We have taken the decision after listening to comments from our supporters," said Chairman David Cardoza.

"There has been a lot of dialogue in the last few days and it is clear there is a chicken and egg situation. Supporters want to take advantage of the offer, but were worried of being asked for more money if we did not hit our 600 target. That meant that everyone was waiting for someone else before committing. We are hopeful and confident that we will reach our target, and we believe this decision will help.

"Any adult supporter buying a season ticket next season will now know what they have to pay. We think that £250 is excellent value for money and there has been a lot of interest in this offer."

Supporters are reminded they have until 5pm on April 30th to take advantage of the discount period for season tickets.

Supporters are also reminded that all 2009/2010 season ticket holders can see the MK Dons game on April 28 free of charge.
