With three and a half weeks to go until the start of the season, Northampton Town's season ticket sales are approaching the 2,800 mark.

In addition, match tickets for the first 3 home games of the new season, against Swindon Town (August 11), Yeovil Town (August 25) and Doncaster Rovers (September 7) plus the gold games - Millwall (January 1), Leeds United (February 9), Nottingham Forest (March 21) and Luton Town (April 5) are all selling well.

"We are still selling season tickets at a very healthy rate, and we expect that to continue for the next three and a half weeks, and even during the first couple of weeks of the season," said Customer Service Manager Paula Kane.

"Since the start of May, the rate of season ticket sales has gradually picked up and we believe that will continue to be the case as we approach the new season.

"That means that around half of all seats for home fans have been sold for most games, with the figure well over half for the games that are proving popular at the moment.

"As you would expect, match tickets for the first 3 home games plus the gold games later in the season are proving the most popular at this stage. With three and a half weeks to go until the Swindon game, judging by ticket sales at this point, we are hoping for a big crowd to start the season."

To purchase tickets, supporters can call 0870 822 1966, email box.office@ntfc.tv or visit the Box Office which is open from 10am to 5pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and from noon until 8pm on Thursdays.

Tickets are FREE for under 7s, with family and multi-buy discounts available.

The club have also had a lot of interest in the Cash Back scheme, and the Team of the Week offer is also proving popular with a number of bookings already made.
