LEON GOAL GIVES RESERVES VICTORY
Leon Constantine scored the only goal as Northampton Town's reserves beat their Watford counterparts 1-0 at Boreham Wood in the totesport.com combination on Monday night.
The game was one of few real chances, but the Cobblers made their second half possession count by taking the lead within the last 10 minutes, when Constantine found the net.
The Cobblers were close to a second goal, but home keeper Searle was equal to Joe Benjamin's effort.
"It was a decent performance," said coach Ian Sampson. "It was good to see Leon get his goal - that's a couple of goals now in his last two reserve games and both have been winners so he will benefit from that.
"It was a hard working performance and I think we deserved the result."
