CHAIRMAN AND COUNCIL LEADER IN POSITIVE SIXFIELDS MEETING

Chairman David Cardoza held a positive meeting with the new leader of Northampton Borough Council, David Mackintosh at Sixfields on Monday to discuss the club's proposed re-development.

"I met with David on Monday for the first time in his new capacity as leader of the Borough Council," said the Cobblers Chairman.

"I have held a number of positive meetings with David previously on the Sixfields re-development and we look forward to making progress in the near future.

"I would like to thank David for making the time in his busy schedule to come to see us so quickly after being elected to office."
