Northampton Town Chairman David Cardoza has again thanked all supporters who marched from the Guildhall to Sixfields on Easter Monday, and has reminded fans that the views of all local election candidates on the Sixfields re-development can be found on the web site of NTFC Supporters Ltd.

Writing in his programme notes for last Friday's game with Huddersfield Town, the Cobblers Chairman said,

"I have not really had the chance to thank everyone who marched on Easter Monday from the Guildhall to Sixfields. All those who took part represented the club's view in a well ordered fashion and the event was a big success.

"The football club has to remain non political, and all supporters will vote however they choose in next Thursday's local council elections. However, I do hope that supporters heed the wise words of our General Manager Tony Clarke at the rally at the Guildhall and look carefully at what the candidates are saying and use their vote for the candidates who will work to progress the Sixfields re-development as speedily as possible within the planning process.

"After many months of silence, many of the candidates are now falling over themselves to talk about the Sixfields issue. I hope that continues after election day.

"NTFC Supporters Ltd have written to all candidates in the local election to ask for their views on the Sixfields re-development issue. All of the responses can be found at www.ntfctrust.co.uk."
