The Cobblers signed Irish striker Stephen O'Flynn in January 2010. He was signed from League of Ireland side Limerick where he was out of contract, bringing to an end two very impressive spells with the club. He has also previously played for Derry City, scoring several key goals including a winner against IFK Goteborg in the UEFA Cup in August 2006. O'Flynn stands 6ft 2in tall, and scored 14 goals in just 13 games for Limerick in 2009 including hat-tricks against Shelbourne and Athlone Town.
