Young Southampton goalkeeper Michael Poke joined Northampton Town on a month's loan in October 2005, which has since been extended. Poke signed on at Sixfields after Cobblers keeper Mark Bunn fractured a finger in training. Michael has been on the bench for Southampton twice, and he played for the Cobblers reserves as a trialist at the start of the 2004/2005 season.
