A Dumfries born defender who made the switch to Sixfields under the Bosman Ruling in June 2005, ending an eight-year spell with Nottingham Forest. The 6ft 2in centre back was known to the former Cobblers boss from his time with Forest and he also spent a short loan spell at Sixfields back in 2003. After being signed on loan by then Town boss Martin Wilkinson, he made nine appearances for the Cobblers before returning to Forest. After being a trainee with Forest, in total Chris made 93 first team appearances made up of 76 starts and as a 17 substitute.
