COBBLERS TO HEAD TO GERMANY IN PRE-SEASON
Northampton Town will spend a few days in Dusseldorf as they prepare for the 2008/2009 season.
The Cobblers will be away at a training camp in Germany from Sunday July 13 to Friday July 18, playing two games while they are away.
There will be a limited number of VIP travel packages available, which will include some travel with the team, including places on the same flight as the squad. "This trip will help the new lads we bring in over the summer bed in," said boss Stuart Gray.
"A 6 week pre-season programme based in one place can be a slog and quite boring, so Germany will give us a change of scene and let the lads work and live with each other 24 hours a day. That builds team spirit and trust with new players and that is vital."
Match dates, venues, opponents and kick off times will be announced when confirmed.
