Stuart Gray admits he is excited by the prospect of the Good Friday clash against Nottingham Forest.

"We are full of confidence at the moment, especially playing at home and we are all really looking forward to the game against Forest," he said.

"Our form is good but we don't want to jump the gun and be boring but we really are just focusing on one game at a time.

"There is always a team that comes up on the rails and hopefully that will be us. We are playing well and scoring goals but the most important thing is that we carry that on against Forest.

"We've got two very difficult games coming up this weekend but before we can think about Carlisle we need to focus fully on the Forest game.

"I think our results against Walsall and Swansea have shown just how far we've come this season but we've now got to play two more teams in the top six and we need to keep performing at the level we have been if we want to get anything out of these two games.

"At this stage of the season it is all about results but the pleasing thing for me as a coach is that at the moment we are getting good performances to go with the good results.

"Players will look at league tables but we can't beat ourselves up trying to work out various permutations, we can't change what other team's do all we can do is control what we can do.

"It's nice that people are talking about the play-offs, we're not in there at the moment but if we can get a result against Forest who knows where we might be.

"I've said that during the run in we need to be picking up four points from every two games and at the moment I think we are on course to do that.

"Obviously the mood in the camp is very buoyant and at the moment the games can't come round quickly enough for us.

"Against Swansea everybody was at it and that is what we will need against Forest. It will be a difficult game and with Colin Calderwood and Luke Chambers coming back here as well I'm sure they'll be desperate to make a good impression.

"We can't afford to fall away from the tempo that we have been playing at because if we do we will find the game very difficult however if we do put in the same effort and commitment in that we did against Swansea hopefully it will be another very enjoyable 90 minutes for both the players and the supporters."
