At Saturday's game, 10 young people from Northampton will take up the challenge of reporting from the Cobblers game with Oldham.

The Reporters will be capturing all the action and publishing it on an award-winning internet podcasting site Radiowaves, where all content is created entirely by young people.

The reporters are from a variety of backgrounds. They are incredibly excited about their role in this event but are also well aware of the responsibilities involved.

The youngsters are all part of a groundbreaking project, aptly named Supporter to Reporter - a national project engaging young people in sports and media. It raises confidence, self-esteem and aspirations, and gives young people the opportunity to work in professional environments. S2R is supported by the Football Foundation, the UK's largest sports charity funded by the Premier League, The FA, Sport England and the Government.

Supporter to Reporter is building a national network of young reporters in preparation for London 2012 where a large team of S2R reporters will capture the events in and around the Olympics. The Northampton reporters are part of a larger online community joining a team of established reporters from across the country.

So far the Northampton reporters have attended a press conference, learnt from the experts at Northants 96 and have been trained with interviewing, media and editing techniques. The young people will be roving reporters in and around the ground on match day. Look out for them in their distinctive blue T-shirts, as they will be looking for unique stories to report on.

Reporters will be covering many different aspects of the game and will also be linking up with Northants 96 legends Jagger and Woody. Find all their reports on www.radiowaves.co.uk/s2rnorthampton
