Stuart Gray will check on the fitness of his skipper before naming his side for Saturday's trip to Huddersfield Town.

"Chris Doig is struggling a bit for Saturday," he confirmed.

"His groin injury has flared up a little bit and we will leave a decision on him until the last minute.

"If Chris doesn't make it then Mark Hughes will obviously come in and at this moment in time it is a bit frustrating that we can't seem to get some consistency in terms of our team selection for whatever reason.

"Jason Crowe is back from suspension though and Liam Davis is back training after recovering from illness."
