Goalkeeper Chris Dunn admitted he was pleased to make his senior Northampton Town debut in Saturday's 2-1 win over Tranmere Rovers.

"I was really pleased to get a game and I was glad to show everyone what I could do," he said.

"I didn't know I was playing until I arrived for the game and although I had a few nerves once the game started I was fine.

"Mark Bunn is a very good keeper but I wanted the chance to prove what I can do. There is always speculation about Mark and if he does move on at any point in the future I hope to be able to kick on and claim the place.

"Bunny and I work hard together and he helps me a lot with advice. Jim Barron, Ian Sampson and the Gaffer have also been a big help to me and I am determined to keep learning and improving."
