Luis Perreira has been named the winner of the 2007/2008 Frank Large Supporter of the Year award. Luis, who received his award before kick off at Saturday's game against Tranmere Rovers, came to the UK for a visit from Portugal to see the Cobblers, a team he had only followed over the internet before coming over. He then moved from Lisbon last summer in order to live and work in Northampton purely so he could follow the Cobblers.

Other supporters nominated and who received certificates were;

George & Erica Church
George and Erica have been season ticket holders since Sixfields opened and were regulars at the County Ground before that. They travel from Nottingham and Lincoln every week to support the team.

Barry & Jenny Parker
They run the Sixfields Travel Club and have done so for many years. They have contributed many thousands of pounds in sponsorship to the club and have provided well run travel to away games for supporters for a number of seasons.

Tom & James Packer
Tom and James live in North Nottinghamshire and travel a round trip of 200 miles to attend home games. They attend games as often as they can and are truly committed Cobblers fans.

Glen Cousner
He will lift a quiet Sixfields with his vocal presence in the West Stand. Glen was the master of the Cobblers beach towels this season, offering supporters a quality product too. He is one of the most enthusiastic and passionate supporters on the terraces.

Cheryl Byrne
Totally dedicated to arranging social events to help NTFC Supporters Ltd raise funds for the club.

Vince & Trina Smith
They are nominated every season and they are 100% dedicated to NTFC SL, giving so much time and effort into arranging the supporters buses.
