Stuart Gray has confirmed that midfielder Giles Coke will be fit to face Leeds United at Sixfields on Saturday.

"Giles is back in full training and he will be available for selection," he said.

"Adebayo Akinfenwa played another 90 minutes for the reserves and he obviously comes into my thoughts as well. We knew when we signed him he wasn't fully fit but he's been working really hard and I don't think he's too far away.

"The down side to the reserve game was that we lost Chris Doig to a tight calf but that should only set him back two or three days. We took him off as more of a precautionary measure really and it's only a minor setback for him."

Gray also said that while Mark Little's loan spell from Wolves expires after Saturday's game, moves are afoot to extend his stay.

"Mark Little's loan spell is up after Saturday but we are speaking with Mick McCarthy and Wolves and hopefully that will be extended, although if we do that Wolves will have the option of a 24-hour recall on him," he confirmed.

"Mark is a bit of a crowd favourite here already, he's got a bit of pace and he enjoys defending. He'd probably be the first to admit that he needs to improve on his passing but he is working very hard on that in training.

"Mark has slotted in very well for us and with Gabor Gyepes and hopefully Chris Doig not too far away we have got a lot of options at the back with Liam Dolman not in the team at the moment as well.

"Everyone is giving 100% at the moment but if anyone does have a little dip in form I've got players who I can bring in and you need that competition for places.

"We are still looking to bring someone in and it's not for the want of trying we haven't been able to bring anyone in. Clubs are reluctant to let strikers go out and we've missed out on a couple of deals this week because players have gone elsewhere but we will keep trying."
