JACKO CONTENT TO 'WIN UGLY'
Danny Jackman admitted the Cobblers rode their luck in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Brighton, but said securing those 3 points was all that mattered.
"We weren't as convincing as we were against Orient but sometimes you have to win ugly and I think we deserved our luck as we have been on the wrong end of fortune earlier in the season," he said.
"We work on set plays a lot in training and for the goal I put it into an area for Hughesy to attack and he did that and put it in.
"We are looking up the table but we have to take each game as it comes and not get too far ahead of ourselves. If you take your eye off the ball you will be punished and we don't want to fall into that trap.
"I have played in a few positions lately but I don't mind where I play as long as I can help the team.
"I have played at Swindon a few times before and we know it will be a very tough match on Saturday. They haven't lost for 10 games or so but we are in good form as well so it should be a good game.
"We have to stay focussed and keep doing what we are doing. The pressure is off us, we can go away and express ourselves and hopefully keep our good run going. It will be a tough game but we are ready for the challenge.
"We have worked hard on our defending in training and as a squad we take great pride in being able to keep clean sheets."
