Poul Hubertz was happy to score from the penalty spot on Friday night - and admitted afterwards he had never taken a penalty before in England.

"I have been waiting a long time to take a penalty," he said. "I am 31 years old and it is up to the older players like me to take responsibility and help the younger lads and overall I think we deserved the win.

"Their defenders were trying to put me off but you expect that and we answered it in the best possible way by winning the game.

"The performance was excellent. It was great to get a clean sheet and a win and personally I am just pleased to be back from suspension and helping the team again.

"It's important we follow this up and keep our good run going with a good result against Brighton on Tuesday.

"I thought Ryan Gilligan worked very hard on Friday. If a player works hard alongside me that gives me the chance to hold the ball up, bring others in to play and cause the opposition plenty of problems. I am an old man now and I need a young lad who can work hard and do plenty of running for me!

"We must not get carried away and just take one game at a time. We have to work hard, play well and get a good result on Tuesday night, that is as far as we are looking at the moment."
