Parklands Tigers (U11s) Girls are our first Team of the Week. They play in the John Henry League and play their home games at Parklands playing fields. They are coached by Sally O'Connor and are captained by Toni O'Connor. Also included in their squad are Sarah Adams, Lauren Everston, Charlotte Murphy, Charlotte Ashby, Molly Hunt, Lauren Taylor, Selina Neal and Amy Lethbridge. Four of the squad support the Cobblers and the team's claim to fame is getting to a cup final at Sixfields to be played in May. A sign of their ability is that four of the players are 9 years old and play in an U11s team/league!
They would like to ask; "Do you think that girls football should be recognised more and if so how should we go about doing this?"
Northampton Town would be delighted to see girls football recognised more. We are working hard with our Ladies team and our Female Centre of Excellence to raise their profile and we hope that your attendance here tonight will help raise your profile.

Tonight's other team of the week is Newport Pagnell Youth FC Under 10s. They play in the MKD57s League and play their home games at Newport Youth FC. They are managed and coached by Martin and Vince and captained by Jack Thomas. Their squad includes Kyle, Jack, Jack, Liam, Adam, Kye, Che, Daniel, Kyle, Jordan, Cameron, Thomas and James. A number of the squad support the Cobblers. Newport Pagnell Youth are a new team and we wish them well and hope they enjoy their visit to Sixfields tonight.

We are looking for junior teams in and around Northamptonshire to take part in a feature in the match programme and Cobblers Jr. The club want to feature a different children's team each week in Cobblers Jr and the matchday programme. The feature will include your team photo, squad list, information about your club and more.
On the day you are featured in the programme your team will receive 15 free child tickets and 3 free adult tickets to the game.
Relatives and supporters are welcome to buy extra tickets for the game. Northampton Town will make sure you are seated with the other members of the group.
