HARTLEPOOL THE FOCUS NOW FOR HOLT
Andy Holt felt that the timing of the goals the Cobblers conceded at Elland Road on Saturday was particularly disappointing.
"3-0 was probably a bit harsh on us but we conceded goals at poor times and when we did create the odd half chance we didn't take any of them," he said.
"We limited them to very few chances in the first half but we conceded a poor goal just before half-time and then the second just after half-time really killed the game for us.
"From then on I think we had a bit better of the possession and did create one or two half chances and maybe if we had got a goal back we might have got something.
"Unfortunately that wasn't to be but that game has gone for us now and we move on to focusing on Hartlepool.
"The support we got on Saturday was fantastic and it was just a shame we couldn't reward that support with a better performance.
"Whether you are playing a top team or a team struggling at the bottom of the table every game is difficult but we need to win as many of our home games as possible and pick up the odd result away from home as well.
"We didn't pass the ball as well as we can do on Saturday but if we improve on that and keep creating chances hopefully the results will come.
"We don't want to think about relegation, we are obviously nearer to the bottom four than we'd like to be but we are just focusing on the positives and we just want to climb up the table as quickly as possible."
