Stuart Gray was pleased to be handed a home game in the first match of the season, but he knows that newly promoted Swindon Town will provide his side with a tough test.

"It is always difficult playing a promoted side first up," he said.

"You know they will have a spring in their step and that they will be keen to make their mark back in League One at the earliest opportunity.

"I know Paul Sturrock well and I know that he has been busy in the transfer market and it will be a very tough game for us.

"But we know that 3 of our first 4 games in all competitions are at home and that gives us a great chance to hit the ground running.

"The second half of the season could be really exciting for home fans. We have some mouth watering home games lined up then as we reach the end of the season and it could be a very exciting time for everyone."
