Recently, Northampton Town's Football in the Community scheme, in partnership with the Northamptonshire FA, were the hosts for the first regional festival this year. The festival was held at Moulton College and was a great success with teams coming from Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. All involved could enter teams at Under 16, League and Championship Level. Over 200 players took part and the football and sportmanship demonstrated by all players was excellent.

A special mention also to Frankie and Benny's here at Sixfields who provided a free meal for all the referees and the winning Under 16 team.
