Stuart Gray was pleased with the work out after Saturday's pre-season draw at Luton Town.

"We got a good 90 minutes out of the lads in some hot temperatures and we kept a clean sheet, " he said.

"We are gearing up for Cheltenham but we know we have to do better up front. Our ball retention needs to be better and then we can get runners going beyond the front men. We also need to do better with our final ball into the area. I thought one or two of the lads looked a bit leggy but that's to be expected because we have been training hard.

"Bayo had his bursar problem sorted with an injection last week. The problem has occurred where the screws were after his leg operation. In those areas there has been some friction and that has led to this bursar forming. The specialist is sure that the injection he had this week will solve the problem and he will be fine after that. We expect him to train on Tuesday and we will go from there. I am confident he will be fit for Cheltenham. He won't play Tuesday night but we will hopefully get a couple of behind closed doors games into him.

"I thought Luke Guttridge did very well. That is an area of the team we are looking to strengthen and his ball use and ball retention was good and we will be asking him back next week and maybe have another look at him against West Brom. Matthew Halliday has recently left Norwich and he has been with us training all week and we will also continue to have a look at him next week.

"As a team we need to create more up front. We got the ball into good areas but our final pass and our decision making was disappointing and that is what we are working on. I am sure it will come, but we need to make it happen and not just wait for it to happen."
