GRAY FRUSTRATED BY MILLWALL DRAW
Stuart Gray was left disappointed that a late equaliser cost his side the chance of back to back wins and gave Millwall a point at Sixfields on New Year's Day.
"I thought we deserved the win but we couldn't quite find that second goal," he said.
"It was a tremendous effort and it has been a decent Christmas for us but it could have been even better had we held on in this game. I always felt we were in control of the game but we could have picked them off a little bit better if we had used the ball better.
"For the red card I thought Poul Hubertz went up for challenge and I think the referee tried to balance it up by sending off one from each side after the fracas. The ref said Hubertz led with an elbow but it just seemed nothing out of the ordinary to me. Why their lad ran across the pitch to get involved I don't know. We will now be without Poul for three games and we will miss him. I thought it was a red card for Harris and it should have been left at that.
"On another say we would have won the game with the possession we had and the chances we created but we really wanted and needed that second goal.
"A substantial offer has come in for Bradley Johnson. It was agreed that we did not play him today in case he was injured and we do know there is other interest in him, as well as from the club that made the initial offer. We will have to wait and see what happens in the next few days.
"When I came in Bradley was on loan at Stevenage but he has knuckled down and worked hard and he deserves this opportunity that has come his way. The final decision on any move will be down to him and if it does happen it means I get the chance to strengthen the squad."
