COBBLERS LADIES STRIKER IN GB DEAF SQUAD
GB Deaf Womens Manager, George McGowan has finalised his squad of 21 players to represent Great Britain at the 21st Deaflympics to be held in Tapei, Taiwan later in 2009.
Included in McGowan's 21-strong squad is 18-year-old Northampton Town Ladies striker Claire Stancliffe who is one of three Midlands based players who will be representing the GB Team.
The Team is made up of players from around all four corners of the country and are self funded with players having to fund their own travelling and accommodation expenses in order to play games.
