Northampton Town Football Club are delighted to launch a new initiative, called the Cobblers Cashback scheme. This is aimed at local sports teams, both junior and senior, schools, cub scouts, girl guides and pubs, bars, clubs, in fact absolutely any organisation that represents a group of people, acts as a meeting place or raises funds.

The system works like this. If the organisation books a minimum of 20 tickets at the same time for a home Coca-Cola League game, they earn £100 cash back from the club. In addition, they will be entitled to a FREE business card advertisement in the home match programme.

Additionally, at the end of the season, a draw will be held involving all of the groups, teams, pubs or clubs who have taken part in the scheme and if the winner is a business they will be entitled to a free stadium advertising board at Sixfields for the 2008/2009 season while if the winner is a non profit making organisation they will be entitled to 2 free season tickets for 2008/2009.

The only conditions that apply to this offer are that the minimum value of the 20 tickets ordered must be at least £100, that any under 16s in the group are accompanied by an adult, and that this offer does not apply to gold games. In addition, this block booking must be made 24 hours before kick off.

This offer will be promoted through the Northamptonshire FA, and the club are in the process of working with a local pub chain and writing to all other pubs and clubs in the area inviting them to take part. To assist with the promotion, the club can provide the items for a small display, including a club shirt, a poster fixture list, prices and ticket office details and a poster advertising the scheme. The scheme will also be run via Cobblers Jr, the match programme and the official web site. (Please note these promotional display items will not be ready until the fixture list is confirmed at the end of June. Provisional fixtures are out on June 14 with a couple of weeks for alterations to be made).
