The Coca-Cola Football League Podcast is available to download now.

New Peterborough United Manager Jim Gannon tells host Mark Clemmit he hopes to get everybody working together at London Road in order to move up the Championship table.

Gannon said: "It is a club that has under-achieved and there is a lot of disappointment and despondency. Hopefully I can re-energise the place.

"I am looking forward to speaking to each player and building a rapport, and we can work as professionals and get the best job done.

"This is a difficult time because they have all been used to success and they have had to learn to deal with adversity."

Newcastle legend Peter Beardsley phones in to give the inside track on the Championship leaders.

Beardsley, who works in the St James' Park Academy, said: "It's just been incredible. We got off to a good start with a draw against West Brom and, credit to Chris Hughton and Colin Calderwood, they have managed to keep it going.

"They have played some good stuff, especially at home. And we have had six wins away which we hadn't done for a while.

"We're not counting our chickens, but hopefully we will finish first or second."

Former QPR striker and Brentford Manager Leroy Rosenior joins Clem in the studio to review transfer deadline day.

He reveals how the last day of the January transfer window can a stressful time for players and managers.

He said: "Clubs are desperate to bring players in. Agents play a massive part in the window these days.

"As soon as a player's agent is talking to other clubs, their whole manner changes. It can be hard for managers too."
