On Thursday 18th February and Friday 19th February, the Cobblers played host to an EAPL Development triangular festival which included Luton Town and Norwich City. On the Thursday the festival was for the U8, U11s, U13s and U15/U16s. The festival took the format of a round robin. All ages played their fixtures on grass pitches and played a total of three games lasting from 20 minutes to 40 minutes in duration. All age groups did very well in their respective matches. The day was then severely interrupted by snow and unfortunately the U8s were unable to complete all their fixtures. The whole of Friday festival was cancelled because of the amount of snow covering all pitches from the previous day.

A big thank you goes out to all our players and staff for their time and professionalism over the Thursday event. The next development fixtures are at Easter and will see age groups from U7s through to U14s travelling to Southend United in week one and then to Wycombe Wanderers in week two. Northampton Town U15/U16s will be travelling to MK Dons during week one and then playing Brackley Athletic U16s in week two.
