Northampton Town's Football in the Community programme works with the Football League Trust to serve their communities and deliver four core themes, Health, Sports Participation, Social Inclusion & Community Cohesion and Helping Young People Realise their Potential. Positive impact, influence and results will be achieved by using the power of football to make a difference.

Northampton Town Football in the Community provides related inputs across Northampton to tens of thousands of individuals each year and every year. We currently reach over 50,000 young people each and every season providing Holiday Courses, Coaching, Matchday Experience, Birthday Parties, Stadium Tours and School based learning.

FITC is currently working with the following partners and delivery the following projects

The Duke of Edinburgh's Bronze Award to a group of teenagers with learning and physical difficulties at the Study Support Centre at Sixfields.

Changing Goals Project, which is a football project aimed at people with substance misuse/alcohol or mental health problems. Working with The Bridge Programme, Northants Probation and Northants Drug and Alcohol action team.

Make Every Player Count, a disability project based at Sixfields Stadium and working with key partners who include the Northants FA, Connextions, Northampton Borough Council, Wellingborough Council. The project aims to give more people the opportunities to participate in football.

Other projects FITC are currently involved in are The Princes Trust, Cobblers say no to Racism, The Goal Project (mentoring adults with Disabilities) Social inclusion projects in Northampton and Wellingborough, working with the Study Support Centre to Develop young leaders.
