A Dublin born full back, Theo appeared as a player for Home Farm, Burnley, Exeter, the Cobblers and Charlton. He began his coaching career as Manager at Charlton, Dulwich and QPR, before forming a successful partnership as George Graham's number two at Millwall and Arsenal. He amazed many when he left Highbury to become the Cobblers new boss in May 1990, but left in April 1992 when the club went in to administration.
