Northampton Town's U9s got into the Christmas spirit last Saturday when they took part in a bag packing morning at the Rushden store of Waitrose.

Waitrose have kindly sponsored the side this season and as part of the relationship between Northampton Town and the store they had invited the players to come and help the customers bag their bags.

It was a very festive atmosphere in the store and the players had great fun. There were some excellent and complimentary comments about the boys appearance as they donned the Waitrose sponsored playing kit.

The club would like to thank Stuart Staines who organised both the sponsorship deal and the bag packing morning for the players and all at Waitrose for making it a very enjoyable morning.
