Northampton Town’s youth team were beaten 3-1 at Stevenage on Saturday in the Football League Youth Alliance.
“We were 2-0 down at half-time,” reflected Academy Manager Trevor Gould.
“For 20 minutes in the second half we were the better side and we got a goal back through Claudio Dias.
“We were pushing for an equaliser but unfortunately in doing that Stevenage scored a third.”
