All the team news ahead of Wycombe Wanderers v Northampton Town
Mathias Kouo-Doumbe and Zander Diamond both come back into the Cobblers squad for Friday’s trip to Wycombe with Joe Widdowson also close to making a return.
Chris Wilder will however still be without Darren Carter as the midfielder serves the second game of his two-match ban for accumulated bookings.
“We lost three key players last week but two of those come back into the squad for Friday,” said the Town boss.
“Mathias is fit, Joe is back in training and everybody came through Saturday unscathed.
“Kelvin Langmead has worked extremely hard and we were all delighted for him when he came on against Burton. The fans have obviously taken to Kelvin because he is a whole hearted committed player who wants the best for the football club.
“We’ve not forgotten about Alex Nicholls and Lewis Hornby and we know that they are going to be key players for us going forward but really we have to concentrate on the guys that can contribute in the here and now and in the four massive games we’ve got still to play.”
