The Cobblers boss on Wycombe Wanderers v Northampton Town
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder was a happy man as he reflected on Saturday’s 3-2 win at Wycombe.
“It was a really good game and I believe we deserved the three points,” he said.
“We recovered well from going behind early on and I thought we controlled the game really well today. We dominated the ball, we were composed and we had lots of options all over the pitch.
“The players put in a real shift with and without the ball, John-Joe O'Toole had his best game for the football club by a million miles and hopefully he can kick on now.
“Wycombe never gave up and the last few minutes were a bit edgy but we defended really well.
“We had to work extremely hard but I’m delighted that we managed to get ourselves over the line.”
