Darren Carter (hamstring) and Chris Hackett (Achilles) are both doubts for Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup first round tie at Wolves along with Emile Sinclair (groin).

“At this stage of the season we won’t be taking any risks with any of the players,” said boss Chris Wilder

“Darren, Chris and Emile are all carrying little knocks but nothing too serious.

“I was delighted with the players fitness levels on Saturday, we’ve got a lot of games this month and I will utilise everybody and everybody has got a part to play.

“The bench was strong on Saturday and I was delighted with the impact that all three substitutes made on the game. It’s always about the team and the squad and it’s not always the eleven players that start a game that get you over the line.”
