Justin Edinburgh is continuing to monitor John-Joe O’Toole ahead of the Easter Weekend double header against Millwall and Shrewsbury.
The Cobblers boss has also confirmed that Gabriel Zakuani is recovering well following his hamstring injury.
“We are still managing John-Joe,” he said.
“It’s difficult for him at the minute because he’s a player that needs to be training day in day out and he hasn’t been able to do that.
“With the two games this weekend there is a decision to be made there and it might be that he only plays in one of those games or a bit of both.
“Everybody came through Saturday okay and Gaby (Gabriel Zakuani) is back out on the grass now which is good.
“His rehabilitation has gone to plan, he’s start doing some running now and hopefully we will have him back before the end of the season.”
