Rob Page previews Chesterfield v Northampton Town

Cobblers boss Rob Page knows Northampton Town face a tough battle in Saturday’s trip to Chesterfield.

“It won’t be easy,” he said.

“I know Danny Wilson and Chris Morgan and I expect Chesterfield to be well-organised, hard working and they’ve got quality in the team as well that can hurt you.

“They will be different opposition to what we have faced in the last two games but as we do for every game we will have a plan and we will work on that through the week.

“I thought it was a good performance on Saturday and from an attacking point of view I am seeing a progression week in week out.

“Whether you are at home or away I think you have got to be hard to beat but we knew attacking wise we had to improve and I think the personnel we’ve got playing in the middle of the park have helped that.

“We are scoring goals and we look solid defensively but we have got to keep that momentum going.”
