The views of the Cobblers assistant manager
Cobblers assistant boss Alan Knill spoke to the media after the Easter Monday defeat to Portsmouth.
“I thought our performance was outstanding and we’ve done everything but score,” he said.
“We played some decent football, created some good chances and it just wouldn’t go in for us.
“Portsmouth are the form team in the division but I thought we dominated the game from 20 minutes onwards and we can take a lot of positives from our performance.
“Time is running out but it’s in our hands and if we play like that in our next two games we’ll give ourselves a great chance of getting six points.
“We are positive, the players are positive and we believe we will still be a league team come the end of the season.”
