Chris Wilder speaking ahead of Sunday's parade around Northampton
Cobblers boss Chris Wilder is looking ahead to Sunday’s open top bus parade through Northampton.
“Hopefully everybody will enjoy the day and it’s a great opportunity for the supporters and players to come together,” he said.
“Everybody has played a part this season and Sunday is going to be a magnificent occasion.
“The connection we have with the supporters here is important and it makes life easier for the players to go and produce performances which they have done in abundance.
“The players have given this football club absolutely everything this season.
“Their performances and their attitude have been spot on all season and we’ve managed to find that consistency that you need to be successful.
“They have been an outstanding group of players to work with and they will rightly go down as one of the best groups that this club has ever had.
“They have given every ounce in everything that they have done and at times that is quite humbling.”
